Dr. R.Mukhopadhyay  has got more than 30 years of experience in education, training & research in the field of rubber science and tyre technology including implementation of  different Quality Management systems (ISO-9000, ISO-14000, TS-16949, ISO-17025). He is a Visiting Professor of different institutes and universities of national importance. He has to his credit more than 130 research and technical papers in national and international journals. He has also filed five Patents from his research work.  He is a Fellow member of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE).  He is a Life Fellow Member of National and International institutions like The Institution of Engineers (I), Indian Rubber Institute, Indian Society of Analytical Scientists, Indian Institute of Quality.  He is also a member of American Chemical Society (Rubber Divn.), ISO/TC-45 Rubber & Rubber Products Sectional Committee. Member of Advisory Board of  Certification Services of Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Member of PCDC-13 of Bureau of Indian Standards.  Presently he is also chairman of Education Development Committee of Indian Rubber Institute.
